About the artist

“I was born in Guadalajara in 1977. I studied at CUAAD and have spent nearly two decades painting the figure to speak about what unsettles: power, faith, childhood and the country.”

Two honorable mentions in the Jorge Martínez award, third place at Galería Vértice, recognition as an established artist at Salón de Octubre, and work in private collections such as the Álvarez del Castillo.
