Scale, hanging height, light and lead times for architects and designers working with original art.
Original art shifts a project's perceived value more than almost any other finish. But it demands planning: scale, light and calendar.
Scale rule
The lead piece should span 60–75% of the furniture or feature wall width. Visual center at 145–152 cm from the floor.
Light
3000K–3500K, 30° from vertical, CRI above 90 so color isn't distorted.
Lead times
Available work: 1–3 weeks with museum-grade crating. Commission: 8–14 weeks depending on format. Reserve early when the delivery date is fixed.
