Frequently asked questions

How do I buy an original work by Fernando M. Águila?
Send an inquiry from the artwork page or via WhatsApp. You'll receive availability, price, high-resolution photographs, natural-light video and a shipping proposal. The purchase is closed directly with the studio in Guadalajara, with invoice and certificate of authenticity.
Are prices published?
Some pieces show a public price; others are handled as “price on request” due to gallery agreements or because they are reserved. In both cases we reply with a firm price within 24 business hours.
How is authenticity verified?
Every work ships with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, including title, year, medium, exact dimensions, photograph and the studio's registry folio. The signature appears on the piece and, where applicable, on the reverse of the stretcher.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Shipping across Mexico (3–7 business days) and internationally (7–15 business days) with wooden-crate packing, declared-value insurance and original-artwork customs documentation.
How much does shipping cost?
Quoted per piece by format and destination. On large formats, museum-grade crating and insurance make up most of the cost; it is confirmed before any payment.
How long does a commission take?
Between 8 and 14 weeks depending on format and complexity, plus shipping. It includes a preliminary sketch, two progress reviews and a certificate on delivery.
Can I see the work on my wall before buying?
Yes. The virtual exhibitions on ArtPlacer let you walk through the work at real scale and preview it on your own wall with augmented reality from your phone.
Do you work with galleries, curators and interior designers?
Yes. There are specific terms for galleries and interior design or architecture projects, including holds on work, technical dossiers and delivery schedules aligned to the project.
Do you accept installment payments?
For large-format pieces a two- or three-payment plan can be arranged, with the work reserved in the buyer's name until fully paid.
Do you sell reproductions or only original work?
The focus is unique original work. Occasionally there are limited editions of prints, always numbered and signed.
